A local hotel in Panglao is seeking a friendly, organized hotel receptionist to join their growing team. In this position, you will welcome guests to the hotel, making future reservations for them, and generally making sure that the guests are happy throughout their stay. The ideal candidate will be committed to ensuring that guests experience maximum satisfaction.

  • Greet hotel guests; answer any questions or concerns
  • Ensure a smooth check-in/ check-out, assigning rooms
  • Maintain an orderly front desk
  • Operate computer programs and phone systems
  • Maintain guest records and book reservations
  • Resolves guest and associate complaints and issues
  • Accommodate guests requests


  • Significant work experience handling guest service responsibilities, preferably in a hotel/reception setting
  • Experience as a front desk officer is a plus
  • Customer service attitude
  • Computer literate and has good understanding of technology, experience using a hotel property management system is a plus
  • Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Fluent in English
  • Proactive approach to dealing with issues that may arise
  • Highly organized, able to multitask and prioritize and work under pressure
  • High school diploma; additional qualifications like a Bachelors Degree is a plus
