• Collect, review, and verify pre-alert documents (HBL/MBL) to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to encoding in the E2M/CDEC system, a service platform of the Bureau of Customs (BOC).
• Maintain and update shipment monitoring logs, including estimated time of arrival (ETA).
• Submit cargo manifests through the E2M/CDEC system once validated and registered by the shipping line.
• Prepare endorsement letters for brokers to facilitate processing and securing of Cargo Release Orders (CRO) and Delivery Orders (DO), required for container release.
• Process check preparations for payment of shipping line local charges.
• Prepare billing statements for clients/customers.
• Coordinate with Accounting and Finance by transmitting billing invoices for processing.
• Manage the Seafreight Import department’s cash fund to support container release and other miscellaneous operational expenses.
Export Responsibilities:
• Prepare and input Shipping Instructions into the Carrier’s Bill of Lading (BL).
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of shipment details prior to submission.
• Coordinate with relevant parties to validate export documentation.
Import Responsibilities:
• Collect and organize all transferred data required for preparing documents for submission to the Bureau of Customs (BOC).
• Prepare and send Arrival Notices via email to customers for incoming container shipments.
• Submit cargo manifest through the E2M/CDEC system based on vessel voyage details.
• Process import documentation necessary for the release of Delivery Orders.
• Compute demurrage charges and endorse computations to the Cashier for issuance of Official Receipt (OR).
• Designated as Head Cashier to supervise staff and sales clerk, prepare and check documents for submission to the Head Office.
• Provided customer satisfaction by way of prompt service, maintaining a friendly and customer focused approach, greeting customers as they arrive at the store and assisting them when buying decisions are required.
