Prepare and manage daily/weekly OT lists in coordination with surgeons and anesthetists.
Verify case readiness including instruments, equipment, implants, and special devices.
Communicate schedule updates to OT nurses, anesthesia team, CSSD, and relevant departments.
Prioritize emergency and add-on cases while maintaining optimal theatre utilization.
Monitor OT efficiency and assist in minimizing delays and cancellations.
Manage and monitor surgical consumables, implants, and specialized instruments for daily OT cases.
Prepare case carts based on surgeon preference cards and scheduled procedures.
Ensure availability of high-value implants and coordinate urgent procurement when required.
Conduct regular stock audits and expiry monitoring to comply with hospital and regulatory standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of implant usage and batch traceability.
Coordinate with procurement and suppliers for consignment and emergency items.
Ensure proper storage and adherence to infection control and sterile protocols.
Scheduling patient’s surgeries, sending reminders to OPD Nurses, and scheduling the emergency as well as the add-on surgeries.
Answering telephone and emails as well for surgical queries such as availability of instruments, surgical timings.
Prepare the list for next day’s surgery. Broadcast the confirmed surgeries.
Making sure for the availability of all the consumables and implants in OR.
Communicate with the Surgeon for their preferences.
Arrange the consumables and contact company for implants and instruments needed.
Checking on daily scheduled surgeries.
Analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interaction and planning digital campaigns to build community.
Search the Internet for information on a wide variety of topics.
Scheduling appointments, handling correspondence, and managing records.
