I enrolled in a General Virtual Assistant (GVA) training to improve my skills in data entry. During the training, my mentor gave me a task to create a customer database using Google Sheets. I organized and managed the data carefully, making sure everything was accurate. This experience helped me improve my attention to detail and become more comfortable using basic spreadsheet functions like filters and formulas.
This is where I was able to practice patient counseling regularly and provide good customer service. Since we were active on social media, I also helped promote our products and services through posting and boosting on our page and other online groups.
As a Pharmacist, I assisted customers with their medications and made sure they received proper care and guidance. At the same time, I also took on the role of Assistant Manager, helping oversee daily store operations, monitoring sales, submit reports thru excel or powerpoint, managing inventory, and supporting and training staff to keep everything running smoothly.
Part of my role was checking inventory, ensuring proper medication compliance for patients, and keeping track of our sales performance to make sure we were meeting our targets. I also monitored FDA compliance and helped process government permits for the store.
