- Use only primary source materials to determine if an eye care provider is approved.
-Searches Admin using phone number, address, or other to see if a version of the doctor already exists. If so, associate the unapproved order to the approved doctor shell.
-Research doctor information (phone, address, name, clinic, etc) to find a doctor’s website or other credible information that proves the doctor is legitimate.
-Updates doctor information to greatest extent possible, documents source of information, and approves the doctor in Admin
-Moving orders from the unapproved queue into the approved queue if information is successfully verified.
