I work as a Utilization Management Nurse for a health insurance company in USA offshore. For the first 3 years, I managed patient’s insurance claims. I check the patient medical records if the medical procedure’s done were to be approved or denied based on a set criteria. I was then transferred to work like patient chart verifier where I check if it matches with patient demographics and facilities where medical procedure’s were done. And then I got transferred to work as the person tasked to assign cases/claims to US licensed nurses.
