Patient Care Coordination & Appointment Management
This showcase highlights my experience in handling medical-grade email correspondence. I manage patient flow by coordinating schedules, confirming visit details, and providing necessary intake documentation. My goal is to reduce the administrative burden on healthcare providers while ensuring patients feel supported and well-informed before they even step into the clinic.



In this project, I managed the end-to-end appointment scheduling process for a medical clinic. My work focused on organizing patient visits, sending out confirmations, and handling schedule changes to keep the clinic running smoothly.
Calendar Management: Organized and updated patient appointments using Google Calendar, ensuring no overlaps.
Appointment Confirmations: Sent professional email invitations and confirmations to patients for consultations and check-ups.
Schedule Updates: Managed appointment changes and updated patients promptly when times were moved.
Information Accuracy: Maintained correct patient contact details and appointment notes for the medical team.
Time Zone Coordination: Handled scheduling across different time zones (CST and GMT+8) to ensure everyone showed up at the right time.

In this project, I created and maintained a detailed patient scheduling log using Google Sheets. My goal was to provide the medical team with a clear, at-a-glance view of the daily patient flow, including specific reasons for each visit.
Key Tasks Performed:
Data Organization: Organized patient names, appointment times, and dates into a structured, easy-to-read table.
Clinical Note Taking: Recorded specific visit reasons—such as initial consultations, post-surgery follow-ups, and lab results reviews—to help the doctor prepare for each patient.
Status Tracking: Clearly labeled patients as "New" or "Returning" to ensure the clinic staff followed the correct intake protocols.
Information Accuracy: Maintained a high level of detail to ensure every patient record was up-to-date and correctly categorized.
Workflow Optimization: Used a clean digital format that allows for quick filtering and sorting of the clinic's weekly schedule.

Google Sheets: Used for creating the "Doctor's Patient Schedule" to track names, appointment times, and clinical notes.
Google Calendar: Used for setting up the 'Appointment-Sarah Collins' event, managing guest invites, and organizing the clinic’s daily flow.
