For my bookkeeping assignment, I practiced using QuickBooks tools to create a deposit summary and record payments received. I entered transaction details such as dates, customer names, amounts, and payment methods into the system, which allowed me to generate accurate summaries of deposits and track individual payments efficiently. QuickBooks made the process easier by automatically organizing the data and providing clear reports that showed both totals and individual entries. This activity helped me understand how digital bookkeeping tools simplify financial management, reduce errors, and save time compared to manual recording. Overall, the assignment improved my confidence in handling financial records and gave me practical experience in using accounting software for everyday business tasks.
