Data Entry Works
For my data entry assignments, I completed three different tasks to practice organizing and managing information effectively using Google Sheets.
First, I created a Customer Database where I collected and entered customer information, including full names, email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, dates of birth, purchase history, and additional notes or comments. I used dummy data to simulate realistic customer entries and made sure all the information was accurately placed in its respective columns. This helped me practice careful data entry, organization, and formatting skills.
Second, I worked on the Customer’s Mortgage List, where I listed 20 customers along with their ID, gender, location, position, education, salary, and mortgage outstanding amounts. I created a structured spreadsheet to clearly display all relevant information. This task improved my ability to organize financial data and practice attention to detail while entering numerical and textual information systematically.
Third, I compiled a Top 30 CEOs List from real companies, including their names, titles, company information, websites, social media links, LinkedIn profiles, and professional email formats. I carefully researched publicly available information and entered it accurately into the spreadsheet, ensuring consistency and organization. This task helped me develop research skills, data entry accuracy, and the ability to manage a large dataset with multiple fields.
Across all three tasks, I focused on maintaining accuracy, consistency, and readability in my spreadsheets. I also practiced using Google Sheets tools, formatting, and structuring data to create professional and easy-to-use databases.
