PRODUCT RESEARCH
In this project, I conducted a complete product research process to identify 3 winning products for the fitness/home workout niche. The main steps I followed included:

Niche Selection – I chose the fitness/home workout niche because it is evergreen, has high demand locally and internationally, and includes small, lightweight products that are easy to ship.

Product Idea Generation – Using Google Trends, Amazon Best Sellers, Alibaba, and Pinterest, I researched trending products and compiled a list of 10 possible items.

Product Validation – For each product, I analyzed:

Demand using Google Trends (past year)

Competition by checking similar products on Amazon

Supplier price from Alibaba and estimated profit margins

Uniqueness/problem solved to determine market value

Selection of Top 3 Products – Based on demand, competition, profit margin, and uniqueness, I narrowed the list to three products:

Resistance Bands

Yoga Mat

Massage Gun

Documentation and Report Creation – I created a structured report in Google Docs, including:

A cover page
-
A product research table with all relevant details (demand trend, competition level, supplier price, selling price, profit margin, and notes)

Screenshots from the research tools

A final recommendation of the product to launch first

This process demonstrates the ability to research, analyze, and validate products for online selling, which is an essential skill for an Executive Virtual Assistant managing e-commerce projects.
